- General Policy
At The Ministry of Storage, we strive to provide clear, fair, and transparent refund policies for all our tenants. By renting a storage unit or utilizing our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.
- Rental Charges
All rental payments are non-refundable once the rental period has begun. This includes monthly rent, administrative fees, or any prorated rental amounts. Refunds will not be issued for unused portions of a rental term if a tenant chooses to vacate early.
- Reservation Deposits
If you reserve a storage unit online or over the phone and do not complete the rental move-in process by the scheduled start date, we may retain part or all of the reservation deposit, subject to local laws and administrative policy.
- Automatic Payments
If you are enrolled in automatic payments and are charged after you intended to cancel your rental, please notify us within 5 business days. If no physical access or usage of the unit occurred in that billing cycle, a partial refund may be considered at our discretion.
- Billing Errors
If you believe you were charged in error (e.g., duplicate transaction, incorrect amount), please contact our office immediately. We will review the issue and, if confirmed, process a refund within 7–10 business days.
- Special Circumstances
Refunds for extenuating circumstances (e.g., emergency situations, relocation orders, or natural disasters) may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Supporting documentation may be required.
- Method of Refund
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. If that method is no longer valid, alternative refund arrangements may be discussed.
